Competition project - Public design
The winning design project for the wall art on the Torenvliet bridge in Oegstgeest which consists of aprox. 600 embossed shapes in the form of fish fossils swimming in a school, as a connection with the river Rihne and reference to the evolution and time passing. In the first part of the design process, my role was to assemble, through a set of quick sketches and 3D models, a dynamic and balanced composition of two schools of fish swimming opposite sides and create the final visuals for our proposal. After we had the pleasure of hearing that our project won the contest was necessary to create a series of technical drawings, concerning materials and construction techniques.
